Try before you subscribe
The full design studio is available as a free demo at /try/ — every tool, all sizes, no account required. Demo exports are the same quality you'll get when you subscribe; the only difference is a watermark. Because of this, we don't offer a blanket money-back guarantee on new monthly subscriptions — there's no need to subscribe to find out whether the Service fits your workflow. All amounts are in US Dollars (USD).
Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription from the /account page at any time, in two clicks — no retention offers, no confirmation calls. Cancellation takes effect immediately, stops all future charges, and leaves your access active until the end of the current billing period.
Auto-renewal refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically so you never lose access. If a renewal charge was unintended, email us within 7 days of the renewal charge for a full refund, no questions asked. To prevent future renewals, cancel from the /account page — cancellation takes effect immediately, with no retention offers, confirmation calls, or extra steps, and your access continues until the end of the paid period.
Yearly renewal reminders
For yearly plans, we send a reminder email 15–30 days before each renewal with the exact renewal amount and a direct link to cancel from your account page. This gives you plenty of time to decide whether to keep the plan for another year.
Failed payments
If a scheduled payment fails, we retry for up to 3 days. During that window you keep full access while we attempt to collect payment. If the retry window ends without a successful charge, your subscription becomes inactive and access to the design studio is paused until you update your payment method from the billing portal. No late fees are charged. Any designs you previously saved live in your browser's local storage on the device where you created them, so they are unaffected by a lapsed subscription — they will still be there when you resume.
Yearly plans
If you are on a yearly plan and you cancel within the first 30 days, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the year. See our pricing page for current plan amounts. After the first 30 days, yearly plans are non-refundable, but your access continues until the end of the billing period and nothing further will be charged.
Partial months and one-off charges
Partial months on monthly plans are non-refundable. We do not charge one-off fees — every paid feature is included in your subscription — so there is nothing else to refund. If something unexpected comes up, email info@buttondesignstudio.com and we'll handle it case-by-case.
How to request a refund
Email info@buttondesignstudio.com from the email address on your account and include:
- The email address on your Button Design Studio account.
- The order or invoice reference from the receipt Stripe emailed to you.
- A brief note about what happened (optional but helpful — it helps us improve).
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please reach out before filing a chargeback with your bank — we can almost always resolve it faster by email, including issuing a full refund on the spot. You always retain the right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
